VHS: Better Fishing With Jason Master

Hey fisherfolks! I'm Jason Master, winner of the World Angling Cup, '83 through '92.

Today I'm gonna give YOU some tips for catching everything from minnows to pikes.

The first thing is a good rod.

Ain't gonna catch much with a stick and a piece of string!

Second thing is: location!

Look for ripples or bubbles on the surface. That's where the fish are.

Specially after it's just rained.

Third thing: bait. Use a lure if you can...

... but you can also try a worm, an insect, or a little bait fish.

Easiest way to get worms from the soil is at dawn after it's rained...

... with a trowel or hand fork.

Or my brother Billy'll sell you a bucketful in Frankfort!

Then cast your line. And wait. And wait...

Reel 'em in as quick as you can without stressing your line to breaking point...
