Pottery is an ancient craft, and still a helpful one today.

The basic ingredients of all pottery are clay and sand or water.

Clay is shaped at a bench or wheel.

Glazing is an important step to turn basic pottery into something more ornate.

Use a small brush to cover your shaped clay item with glaze.

Now, when you fire it in your kiln, the pottery will be stronger, and waterproof.
