The more I think, the more I realize - we need to thank them.

We need to thank the US Army.

Whatever this is, it isn't fun. It could've spread.

Right now, you could be sick.

Your kids could be sick.

They were ready for their duty. They got involved.

They rolled out from their bases, and they protected America.

They did it fast, and they did it effectively.

They did it in one of the most militarily senstive areas in America.

God bless them.

There is an illness in there, and it is contained.

Yes, a lot of people are hurting.

Yes, it's unfortunate that familes have been divided.

People kept from their homes? That's never good.

But this is swift, decisive action.

A threat is being dealt with.

That illness in the Exclusion Zone? It's trapped.

The Army is biding its time. Making sure we stay safe.

Have faith America.

Faith will let us grow.

Y'know, I understand the pain.

I'm not just some big-shot big mouth on the TV.

I'm worried too. I'm worried as hell.

I believe in our ability to deal with the Knox Event...

... but there are unknowns. Unknowns make me nervous.

But nervous enough to break into a store and take a VCR?

Nervous enough to distract our forces and emergency services?

That's not even real to me. Not even real.

Be scared, sure.

Just don't let that fear turn to crazy.

We're in this together.

I've been hearing a load of phooey about 'the end-times'.

The Event, the riots, the communications black-out...

I'm asking you now, what changed?

What's changed in past few days, aside from panic?

Look at our police force, look at our doctors and nurses.

Follow their example.

Here's a word you might not know - 'Stoicism'.
