The Knox event IS contained: that's the word from Washington.

Overnight there has been an apology for a 'lack of clarity', but...

... civilian fatalities are NOT an ongoing concern.

That's what we've been told, but is it enough for the crowds massing in Washington. Phil?

They're angry because they don't think they know the full story.

Security is high here today, Diane. Lots of uniforms, lots of nervous faces.

Are we expecting any further statements from the President?

We know he's locked in meetings with the Center for Disease Control...

... and the officials overseeing the Knox Event itself.

But if the folk behind me make their voices heard loud enough?
