Hey there, I'm Emanuel J. Lacy, and this is my garden.
There's nothing more disheartening to a beginning farmer...
... than seeing their early shoots succumb to disease or pests.
But don't worry! Here's a few home remedies you can use for common problems.
Mildew is a white fungus that grows on leaves due to humidity and warmth.
It can be gotten rid of by spraying milk on the affected areas.
And now for some moo-re tips. Hehe.
At some point, your crops are going to be attacked by flies, but the cure is simple.
Tobacco! Add cigarettes to your garden water sprayer, and apply it to your plants.
That'll smoke 'em out. Hehe.
Slugs will strip your greens to the bone. Don't let it happen!
Place a container with a little bit of beer in it near the affected area.
The slugs will smell the beer, fall in, and drown.
Reminds me of my college days. Hehe.
Got aphids? A spray of disinfectant mixed with water will get rid of 'em.
As for devil's water fungus... the cure is simple.
