VHS: Growing Fruit and Veg at Home 2

Hey there, I'm Emanuel J. Lacy, and this is my garden.

In my previous video, I talked about some staple foods you can grow in your plot or garden.

Now we'll talk about crops that are a little more complex, or exotic.

Green peas are easy to grow, but they need to climb or they can collapse and rot.

Soybeans are self-supporting, and so a little easier to maintain.

Kale is just cabbage with a college education, pretty easy to grow.

Garlic is another favorite. Good for the blood, and keeping the vampires away.

Sweet potatoes are great at surviving droughts.

Finally, how about some corn?

Everybody knows how tall corn grows, so you'll need a big plot.

Grow your corn away from anything you don't want it in the shade.

It grows slowly, but the yields are a-maize-ing! Hehe.
