One time I was out in the woods on South Island and...

All of a sudden, I realized I'd lost my tent.

Nightmare, ey?

What I did have was four tent pegs - and a tarp.

Using a stick I found foraging I built... this.

Not much, but it's home - or one with fabric walls, ey?

Don't get me wrong, it gets cold alright.

But it keeps out the elements. That's enough.

In a pinch, you could use small stakes instead of tent pegs.
