Hi there! I'm Charli, San Franciscan by birth, welder by trade.

Welding is, simply, joining together two metals using heat.

For everything but the most basic constructions, you're going to need welding rods.

And don't forget to wear your mask!

Hold the rods like so, where your two pieces meet. Then bring the flame down, moving it along...

... until the rods melt and bind them.

That's the basic principle of all welding, from your living room shelf...
